Epsilon has established a point of presence (PoP) in Dallas, strengthening its US presence and creating new connectivity options for Latin America. This PoP will support the growth of Epsilon’s Cloud Link eXchange (CloudLX) platform in the US and Latin America while expanding Epsilon’s ability to serve the local markets.
The PoP has been opened in Equinix’s DA1 data centre facility and adds to Epsilon’s US PoPs in Los Angeles (CoreSite), Miami (Verizon), New York (TelX/DRT), and Ashburn (Equinix DC2). The Dallas PoP gives Epsilon’s customers diverse access to Latin America via Mexico and enables local customers in these markets to leverage Epsilon’s on demand Ethernet and intelligent Network as a Service (iNaaS) offering.
The PoP in Dallas is key to our growth in both North and Latin America. It boosts our presence in a market that is a driving force in the adoption of cloud services, with the added bonus of unique access to one of the fastest growing regions in the world. We can see the potential for CloudLX and our network iNaaS offering, benefiting our customers in both developed and developing markets. Demand for infrastructure that can support the cloud is growing and just like we’ve done in other markets, we’re bringing our services as close to our customers as possible.

The Dallas PoP follows on from the opening of a PoP in datamena’s facility in Dubai and gives Epsilon more than 220 PoPs around the world. Global spending on IaaS is expected to reach almost $16.5 billion in 2015, an increase of 32.8% from 2014, with a CAGR from 2014 to 2019 forecast at 29.1%, according to Gartner. Epsilon is expanding its global footprint and connecting to hundreds of cloud and communication service providers to meet the needs of the growing cloud segment.
This network expansion is about serving the growing market for cloud connectivity and enabling more customers to benefit from our iNaaS offering. We built our business to be agile, flexible and simple and that is exactly what customers are looking for in today’s market. We offer them seamless access to on demand Ethernet and give them a fully automated platform for provisioning network services end-to-end. We make it as simple as possible to succeed in cloud, content and communications.
